Hi! I’m Danna!

I am the educator, creator, and designer behind Teacher Tech Studio. As a young girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher someday. My mom used to say I had the smartest stuffed animals around. Right out of high school I was persuaded to go a different direction with my career, and chose to enter the dental field. I soon realized that was not where I was meant to be, especially after the birth of my first son, Ryan. I decided to leave my job and be a full time stay at home mom. A year and a half later my second son, Reece was born. (I’m not going to mention how many years ago this was! Let’s just say I am a 40 something woman…)

I was a busy young mom. During my “free time” I built a graphic design business, where I designed invitations and cards, which eventually developed into educational materials. It wasn’t until my oldest son went to kindergarten and I was spending time in his classroom, that I felt the pull to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher.

I earned an M.A.T. (Master of Arts in Teaching) from UCA (University of Central Arkansas) and began teaching 5th grade immediately at the elementary school I attended as a child. I spent 7 years in the classroom, all teaching 5th grade, and then eventually moved into a virtual education role where I taught 3rd grade. During my years in the classroom, Teacher Tech Studio became an extension of the business I had created previously.

I was given the opportunity (because my sweet husband, Nick, works hard so I don’t have to!) to step out of the classroom to work full time designing and creating digital and printable education resources, and provide training and online courses and unit studies for teachers and homeschooling families.

The Shift…

While I still create secular education materials and resources for classroom teachers, I have also experienced a shift in my personal Spiritual growth and walk with Jesus. I have been a part of Children’s Ministry at my local church off and on in some capacity since my kids were young (in early preschool years). My love of teaching and creating curriculum inspired me to take on a role of creating and designing Christian faith based educational resources, which led me to building out an entire elementary curriculum for Christian ministry.

While all Seeds of Truth Ministries donation and business transactions are made under my curriculum business (Teacher Tech Studio, LLC) it has never been a desire of mine to profit financially in any way from the sharing of Bible teaching materials. Instead, my desire for these resources is for them to reach as many people as possible, and to bless families and Church ministries. That is why EVERYTHING visitors to this website will find is absolutely 100% free.

My Personal Statement of Faith

I am a learner and teacher of Biblical Truths.

I believe that God is Triune, existing as three co-equal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

I believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is fully divine and fully human and was born to a virgin on this earth to live a sinless life so that He could die in my place and receive the punishment for my sins, and then resurrect so that I can accept His free gift of salvation and live eternally with Him in Heaven. I believe that Jesus will return to this earth again someday soon to receive His people and judge unbelievers.

I believe that the Holy Spirit indwells & guides all believers of Jesus.

I believe that the Bible is fully inspired by God, written by men over 1,500 years, and is without error.

I believe that humanity is created in God’s image, but corrupted by sin and in need of acceptance of the free gift of salvation through the atoning sacrifice made by Jesus on the cross.

I believe that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ, by His grace alone. I believe that human works are NOT required to attain salvation but are a result of the sanctification process in a believer in Jesus.

I believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are outward practices and are not required for salvation.

I believe that at the end of the age, Jesus will return to retrieve His people, the Church, and take us to live with Him in eternity in glorified bodies.

A Few Other Details About Me…

I am a long time Jesus follower. (I grew up in a Baptist church and am now a member of a non-denominational Bible church.)
I am wife to my high school sweetheart.
I am mom to our two sons.
I am a lover of all dogs.
I am an avid reader. ( I have a stack of unread books that I desperately want to get to!)
I am an avid podcast listener.
I am the cook of the family.

While creating these Bible teaching resources, I have carefully chosen words, lessons, and activities that align with the Bible and the teachings found within the Bible.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little of my story. I am so blessed to be able to spend so much time creating Bible teaching materials. It is just as much a resource for my own Spiritual growth as I hope it is for others. I have learned (and continue to learn and grow) throughout my time creating the materials I offer at Seeds of Truth Ministries.
